Happy Easter from Kathy Davis! (4.14.14)

Happy Easter from Kathy Davis!

I just love the month of April, with its promising signs of renewal. And this year, both Easter and Earth Day happen in April, so there’s plenty to celebrate. After the bitterly cold and grey winter we’re emerging from here in Pennsylvania, it’s fun to see all the wonderful sights that accompany springtime, Easter and Earth Day. Bunnies and chicks. Pastel Easter eggs. Graceful tulips and fragrant hyacinths. In fact, just the sight of new leaves on trees and grass turning green again is enough to lift my spirits!

Easter is also a time to renew our connections – with family and friends we care about. To help you do just that, our collection of Easter cards features uplifting messages and art. Our Easter palette is especially joyful and expressive – from the soft lavender, aqua, pink and green of decorated Easter eggs to the exuberance of sunny orange and yellow daffodils and daisies, from the delicate beauty of whisper pale butterfly wings to pristine pink and white apple blossoms. You’ll find our cards in any store that carries American Greetings cards.

Why not pick up a few greeting cards to let those special people know you’re thinking about them? Sharing the joys of the springtime season is a wonderful way to brighten someone’s day!

The Beauty of Easter…

Happy Easter from stayinspired365.com

With its colorful beauty, lively energy and renewing spirit, “Eastertime” feels more like a whole season than a holiday.  And everyone has their favorite parts about it. For little ones, it’s all about the bunny and the basket and finding the most eggs.  For girls, no matter what age, there’s also the excitement of a pretty new outfit!   And, most importantly for many of us, it’s a time to look to the heavens in a prayer of gratitude for the sacrifice and love that Easter represents…and to count our own blessings as well.

With so much to celebrate at Easter and in the spirit of renewal, remember to send your favorite peeps a card to let them know you’re thinking about them.

Happy Spring!

The first day of spring has arrived! That time of year when we can finally exhale the remnants of winter frost and inhale the fresh buds of spring. This season is full of beautiful transformations. The grass becomes greener, the temperatures warmer and our outlook brighter. It is great seeing folks out and about, whether they are working in their yards, washing the car or just taking a long walk. Or how about the smell of fresh, cut grass, listening to the chirping of birds and enjoying longer days . There are so many wonderful things to celebrate about spring. What are some of your favorite memories of this season?

Behind the scenes bunny banter (Wednesday, 4.4.12)

Behind the scenes bunny banter

Bunny Banter

Easter is almost upon us and we wanted to share a little behind the scenes fun to show what went into creating our Easter eCard “Easter Bunny Banter.” Our adorable stars of the card, Cletus and Penelope, spent the day being pampered in the spotlight.

A fun fact about this shoot is that we didn’t hire bunnies from a talent agency – Cletus and Penelope are from a local bunny rescue, and it looks like they had quite the day on set, enjoying carrot treats and having plenty of play time. A one-of-a-kind bunny egg plane was built especially for our stars and the outcome is quite a sight. One thing’s for sure – this is an Easter eCard that everyone will love!

Easter = Fun! (Wednesday 3.28.12)

Easter = Fun!

When I was little, Easter was always a fun time. It was the official start of Spring in my house, as well as an excuse to go buy a pretty new dress with my mom and the huge Easter basket full of candy and presents didn’t hurt either. From the card fastened to the front of the basket, to the bows on chocolate bunnies and even the pink and green grass peaking out – everything in my basket was always very colorful and vibrant. When you’re picking out Easter cards for little ones, it’s important to capture their attention and, of course, be fun. Easter eCards are the perfect pick because they’re interactive and kids will have a blast replaying them throughout the day. We’re really excited about our assortment of fun Easter eCards this year so check them out and let us know what you think!

Fun DIY Easter Eggs

Egg decorating!

Easter is less than two weeks away, which means it’s time to start thinking about baskets, bunnies, and, of course, eggs! I’m sure we all remember dying eggs when we were little – I certainly do. In my house we always got the old fashion kit with the pellets you mixed with vinegar to get the dye. My eggs always turned out pastel and less than perfect because I was too impatient to let them soak in the solution for more than 10 minutes. My brother’s eggs where always a perfect bright and vibrant color because he would let them soak for an hour! Regardless of how our eggs turned out, it’s a memory that I will always remember. Step up your DIY egg dying this year with some truly creative ideas that we just love!
